Christmas to a child is the first terrible proof that to travel hopefully is better than to arrive.

Bellerive Oval, home of the Sheffield Shield powerhouse Tasmanian Tigers. Bellerive, December 2010.

I have had a number of Hi-5 songs stuck in my head for the past two weeks.

At this point, I would even take Christmas carols as replacements.

If anyone has a foolproof earworm, please let me know!

Hi5? Bugger.

At the moment, I have Mack the Knife by Louis Armstrong on repeat. It's not bad as far as earworms go, although it makes one prone to talking in a Louis sort of way...and performing impromptu trumpet solos for the cat/wife/neighbourhood dogs.

Hi-5 are okay. They put on a good live show.

I have cleared it using my secret weapon: Bonnie Tyler...

It's a heartache, nothin' but a heartache.
She is good.
I was going to say was, but she is still alive.

Yeah, but it's the after party where they really let loose.

One should never underestimate Bonnie - "Hero" or "Eclipse"?

Roddy, yes she is.

Me, It's a Heartache, actually. However, I do manage an excellent Total Eclipse... in Karaoke.
