Showing posts with the label when you're smiling

A man travels the world in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.

Look... Henry has a kangaroo in a headlock...

Friendship is Love without his wings!

Right Ez, I just need you to give me the biggest smile you can… SNAP!

The gods look in pleasure on penitent sinners.

He looks very young here! This one was taken way back in January as we rode the rails up at Don River. Check out the grin.

Ignorance is the parent of fear.

Ezra did his bit for the world today, with two vaccinations - chicken pox and swine flu - to give YOU [and me and Henry and Jen and your kids and their kids and their kids etc etc] safety from a number of preventable, but potentially deadly, diseases. Jen and I joined him in the fight against tetanus and whooping cough (plus swine flu); and Henry (a long supported of vaccination) went with the swine flu on his own. If the little grinning bloke above can do it, you can too! [I have spoken about this before , of course ...]

Break the skin of civilization and you find the ape, roaring and red-handed.

While journeying through the magnificent north west coast of Tasmania (the greatest coast in the known universe), we happened upon one of the world's great rail journeys: the Orient Express Don River Railway ! As you can see, Ezra spent a portion of his trip working on his dimples.

A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep.

How about that smile? I'm considering entering him the the 200 metre smile at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi...

Children begin by loving their parents; after a time they judge them; rarely, if ever, do they forgive them.

If is is true that a picture speaks a thousand words , what is this picture saying?

Only exceptionally rational men can afford to be absurd.

It's hard work being a vampire: sucking blood; laughing maniacally; seducing virgins; picking cotton. Sometimes you just need a break...

We must be very careful when we give advice to younger people: sometimes they follow it!

Some people say that it's the dimples that make the smile. Personally, I reckon that it's the eyes .

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

For those hanging out of a recent glimpse of the lads, here is Ezra from yesterday afternoon, just after he parachuted from a plane, free fell 3,000 metres, and then crashed through the roof into out kitchen. As you can see from the look on his face, he is enjoying his paratrooper training very much. I decided not to show the images after he fixed his bayonet and chased Henry around the house.

Peace begins with a smile

Sometimes the sign of new little teeth can light up the world at a time that it needs it. Here is Henry doing his best to get his little brother to smile. He had great success. I'm thinking of taking Ezra out on tour to smile at people. It seems to help.
