World Cup Squad

The Australia World Cup squad has been announced, and what can I say?

I know it's probably no surprise that I'm disappointed!

The squad: Ricky Ponting (capt), Adam Gilchrist (wk), Nathan Bracken, Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin (wk), Matthew Hayden, Brad Hodge, Brad Hogg, Michael Hussey, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath, Andrew Symonds, Shaun Tait, Shane Watson.

The fact that Voges, North, Ronchi or Hilfenhaus have not been given an extended run shouldn't surprise me, but I can't help feeling that each of these players would be far more helpful in the West Indies than an unfit Watson, an injured Symonds or an over-the-hill Hayden.

In dreams begin responsibilities.

A life at sea, that's for me, only I just don't have the BREAD. That's right, Theme Thursday yet again and I post a photo of a yacht dicking about in Bass Strait just off Wynyard. The problem is, I am yet again stuck at work, slogging away, because I knead need the dough . My understanding is that it is the dough that makes the BREAD. And it is the BREAD that buys the yacht. On my salary though, I will be lucky to have enough dough or BREAD for a half dozen dinner rolls. Happy Theme Thursday people, sorry for the rush.
