Update

Can't write too much, I'm entertaining Henry before bath time and bed. I’ll then sneak back to the hospital and leave him in the care of my parents.

He has a new brother.

Ezra Leo Fitzgerald McCracken

Ezra's first photo

Three kilograms, he came a bit early, but got top marks on the APGAR scores. He’s a reasonable size, but looks tiny compared to Henry at birth (who was a monster baby).

No drugs, no stitches, very quick labour and mum and bub well. I have a quick pic, I will post more when we're home properly.

Yay!
And welcome to the world, dear little soul.
Sending you good and happy vibes from this part of the world - they're a-coming through the ether.

Good on ya, to Jen for .... expelling another human being from her body - bloody incredible.

And happiness to you Kris - what great blessings you have in this life.

Has Henry seen him yet?

Wonderful news, Kris. My best wishes to Jen, Henry, Ezra and the happy father.

Only a true Australian would be dressed in an Essendon top for this sort of picture ...

Thanks to all for the kind words, yes dad was feeling rather rough when those photos were taken. Adrenaline can get you only so far!

I need whatever it is that these Tour de France riders are taking! Or at he very least, whatever hormones that Jen are on, she's coping far better than I!

Sorry this is late. I haven't had much time to visit blogs since the kids are on summer break.

goodness, I miss a few visits due to preparing for a solo art exhibition at short notice, and in the interrim you guys produce a baby! A far greater achievement than my 10 paintings I might add! Well done, that first photo is a rare gem! Now to convince young Henry that having another person around who demands lots of mom and dad's attention is a GOOD thing!
