Our life is frittered away by detail.... Simplify, simplify.

Here is a typical Hobart lamp post in the middle of the day. I like the way that it sits against the sky.

Which is worse, having no idea or not having any idea that you have no idea?

Not having any idea that you don't have any idea is worst. If you are aware that you are not having any ideas, then at least you can do something to rectify the problem. But if you are not even aware of that, then that is really bad since you won't be able to fix yourself.
Sitting at work, reading my favorite blogs and I see this picture and it brings me to near tears, I don't know what it is about it that moves me; the bright blue sky speckled with clouds or the street light unlit and standing on its own.

Neither. The worst is when you have a complete idea, but can't do anything about it.

:D

Deny ignorance - tell us what is going on there!!!

In so few words today there is so much meaning.

In my own experience not having any idea that you have no idea is worse. I only say this because I sometimes shudder as I look back & remember those times when I actually realized how little clues I had!
Love this photo, great perspective.

Not having any idea that you don't have any ideas.

To be that truly clueless means simply that you should go back to bed and start the day all over again.

Yes, there is lots of bliss in ignorance. If you don't know about the wars and hunger and killing and death, of course it is blissful. You will never suffer the pain and anguish and shame.....but isn't that a very selfish way to live life?

Also, if you are ignorant about the beauties and achievements of human civilizations, then how can you be blissful? Blissful and happiness comes from all these beauties and beauties of nature.

Oh! I need to stop. Otherwise, I would go on and on....

Neva, things are much of a muchness in my part of the world. I did get to voice some "home truths" today, so I always like that.

Aigars, unfortunately that is a familiar tale. Some days it does appear that those with little clue are running the joint...

Lily, sometimes I wish I had no idea.

Kiwi, I sat outside to day and just looked at the sky for twenty minutes today. Unfortunately I had to go back to work.

G, that sounds okay.

KL, I'm not easily bored. Unless it involves cars.
