The real truth about children is they don't speak the language very well... And they are ignorant of our elaborate ideas about right and wrong.

"Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot?"

"Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that."

I think that I know what it's like, if you think of the iron boot as a metaphor for sheer, utter, short-sighted stupidity and ignorance.

Looks like you have a budding artist in your home....those art work adorning the wall are impressive.

Lovely, cute photograph.

And I couldnt help but notice the difference between the hair on your boys. Henry's is straight and thick while Ezra's is light-coloured and cutely-curled. :-)

As for your header. The challenge for us as parents is to teach them the words they require to communicate, and hopefully instil in them the ability to know right from wrong. We as parents generally do this lovingly. Maybe not always successfully.

Kavita, I have two of Henrys' artworks framed and hanging on my wall. They were a present from the budding artist. One for myself and one for his grandma.

Maybe I need to have an Internet auction of some of the art!
