(My) Photo of the day

Here is a shot of Mount Wellington – which sits overlooking Hobart – as seen from the eastern shore of the Derwent River. This was taken just down the road from our house.

For a reasonable chunk of the year, there is a good covering of snow on the mountain, which brings with it a chilly wind over the city. As a bonus, I've also included a picture of a younger Henry after his trek to the summit last July to experience the snow.

Good selection of topics covered in your last few posts.

I enjoyed the "should we laugh at this" one. Of course we can. French humorist Coluche once said "you can laugh about everything but not with everyone...".

Your rant about the rampant sexism around Hilary was quite justified and the "how soon is too soon?" just baffling. How much damage have Coke, Nestlé and the like done? How much are they still doing ?

Louis La vache is a bit loud in his advertising of his website. I find Louis la vache a bit irritating.

How cuuuuuuuute! He's adorable!

And I love the photo of the mountain, too. :-)

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments. I'm at our old house right now where there's broadband (but will leave here in a few minutes) so I am able to connect to cyberworld. I've been offline the last 4 days and I find it terribly challenging - and I'm still definitely not ignoring you. Thank you for your patience and my visit to your blog will be back to its regularity once we have broadband at our new home. Have a great weekend!

Kris is unsure about referring to oneself in the first person.

Kris can't get past the Seinfeld episode "The Jimmy".

I do like that Coluche quote, captures it very nicely!
