For children are innocent and love justice, while most of us are wicked and naturally prefer mercy.

It's our old friend the Oceanic Viking again. You might remember her from this post in June (with a sufficiently obscure Norweigan proverb for a title). In a bit of a rush as usual, and have got another conference presentation tomorrow that I have yet again left far too late!

Looks like I'll be winging it yet again. By golly it's a good thing that I'm not afraid of crowds and can crap on (and on, and on, and on).

I like the quote. very true.

But I wonder what is the age cut-off, when children become manipulative and abandon the course of natural justice.

Indeed, you do have the gift of the gab and you probably don't bore your audience. :-) :-)

Nice post. I enjoyed it all.

I am doing something different on my Gordon, Ohio blog. I set out to photograph and describe every house in the village where I was born.

Abe, it really was nothing...

Dina, it helps to be full of yourself.

It would have been nice if you had credited the true author of the quote - Gilbert K. Chesterton

Pauline, it's no secret that every title is a quote from somewhere, people generally recognise it, ask or Google it themselves.
