Autumn is a second Spring when every leaf is a flower.

Here you can see Ez and myself looking suitably tired this very morning. Henry and Jen had a mother and son morning, while Ezra and I stayed home to do some autumn cleaning and grumble about the declining fortunes of the Latvian industrial economy.

To cheer ourselves up, we later went out and purchased one gross of rusks, a terrabyte of hard drive, a sausage and a bloody great pencil.

Seriously, the pencil is a foot long.

Looking at the picture, one would almost be inclined to think that Ezra and yourself are related. The resemblance is amazing.
What has happened to the baby that I brought home from the hospital last July?
You and Jen certainly know how to breed fast growing children.
I'm almost speechless.

Roddy, Ez never stops eating, so it is no wonder he is big.

Hey dad, I'll race you to the camera!

I think each generation in the family since ours has been bestowed with the 'tall gene', Roddy.
Kris...Ezra is just more enchanting every time I see him.

Kids are like that. Once they get a taste for good food and like it.

Wow, how did you get Ezra to pose like that? That is a great picture funny but in a serious sort of way. My mom said they only way to get us to eat her cooking was to get us good and hungry, then we'd eat pretty much anything!

You both look delish in this shot, but Ez looks like he's getting more sleep. Perhaps the effect of aforementioned neighbors whose speaker wire should be ripped away and thrown in the drink before another weekend approaches. Just catching up with your posts and enjoying my Sunday coffee. Quite a pleasant combo. Laughing and pondering, and enjoying the photos,
-Kim

You (Kris) really look like your father in this one.

Roddy, he would have won yesterday morning.

Sue, good diet is the answer.

Kris said...

KL, I win.

Abe, Ez likes pretty much everything. Henry, not so much...

Kris said...

Evening Light Writer, Ez doesn’t so much pose as simply be...

Kris said...

Kim, Ezra definitely won the sleep contest that night.

Candie, tired boys, we were.

Hallam, that’s just about the cruellest thing you’ve ever said to me, and that’s quite a list!

I think that if you hadn't been tired the shot would have been less interesting , great portrait of dad and son ;)

Kris said...

Babzy, tired very much captures the father/baby dynamic.
