What would a walk in the Tasmanian wilderness be without wildlife?

Rubbish, that’s what!

After unsuccessfully trying to locate a tiger snake, we did manage to get a look at a pademelon.

It was lovely.

It went beautifully with the matured cheddar and bottle of Pinot Noir that we bought with us!

This has been a brilliant series of photos, the park looks like a great place.

I've never heard of a pademelon (is that how you spell it?) before. You lot have the maddest critters.

I thought this was the one that escaped Henry. Not you and Jen though. What was the garnish, spices and what condiments? I like your choice of wine though.

How did it behave? Scared of humans? Or came to you all when you called at it? Did you pat it? I just need to go to Australia to hug these animals; many of them are hugged by visitors in those centers (I see all these animal programs at Animal Channel).

Jackie, we have some good animals. Not enough big and deadly ones though down here. Small and deadly seems all the rage.

KL, they're generally pretty tolerant. Henry was good and kept quiet, so we got a good look at it.

It's a National Park, so you're not supposed to touch or feed the animals. Oddly enough, I respect of such rules

As all carnivores should do. Pity we've learnt to spoil it all by cooking everything.

A life at sea, that's for me, only I just don't have the BREAD. That's right, Theme Thursday yet again and I post a photo of a yacht dicking about in Bass Strait just off Wynyard. The problem is, I am yet again stuck at work, slogging away, because I knead need the dough . My understanding is that it is the dough that makes the BREAD. And it is the BREAD that buys the yacht. On my salary though, I will be lucky to have enough dough or BREAD for a half dozen dinner rolls. Happy Theme Thursday people, sorry for the rush.
