Another day in Hobart, and more rain. I'm getting sick of this.

Here is an interesting little add on down here in Salamanca. Sandstone and red brick, with a grey slab concrete fronting on the right of the photograph. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I am working on the assumption that it is an elaborate ruse of some kind.

It must be a good one, because for the life of me, I can't figure it out!

I agree with your theory of a ruse. Maybe not so much "elaborate" as "somewhat mystifying".

Obviously they ran out of sandstone. Halfway through the red brickwork it appears they were short of identical bricks, hence the herringbone effect.

A life at sea, that's for me, only I just don't have the BREAD. That's right, Theme Thursday yet again and I post a photo of a yacht dicking about in Bass Strait just off Wynyard. The problem is, I am yet again stuck at work, slogging away, because I knead need the dough . My understanding is that it is the dough that makes the BREAD. And it is the BREAD that buys the yacht. On my salary though, I will be lucky to have enough dough or BREAD for a half dozen dinner rolls. Happy Theme Thursday people, sorry for the rush.
