Henry's prawns are intact, but his horsey's are vulnerable to a flanking manoeuvre. He better be careful though, because the increasingly mobile Ezra - he can run now - has his eyes set on the castles...

Kris, they are pawns, not prawns. Then again it may be a new play on the game of chess. Henry must be concerned at the moves that Ezra may pull off, going by the look on his face.

Yikes! That is one huge chess set! Henry speaks a language I understand. Soon, however, I fear he will overtake me...perhaps even before Ezra takes the castles.

The chess set looks interesting. Personally, I could never learn to play chess, although one of my elder cousins tried a lot to make me learn. ;-))

And yes, Henry is looking taller in the photo.

Are you absolutely sure that he will only be three this birthday??? Perhaps you misplaced a couple of years? He looks so grown up!!!
Which I found a bit of a curse with mine...everyone thinks they are older and so expect more mature behaviours...forgetting or not realising that they really are only babies still!
