Hope is a waking dream.

Henry, Ezra, Jennifer and I all spent yesterday climbing Mount Wellington. It was a hard slog in the 26 degree Celsius heat, but paid dividends! On the right there you can see Tasman Bridge, and two bays to the left of that, you can see Geilston Bay.

If you squint (while standing on your head), you can just about see our house just past that green patch of parkland.

Looks like it was a good day for it.

Skiied back to the bottom, I assume?

If you stayed on the shaded side it would have been that much cooler. Was there snow on the hidden slopes?
Stood on my head, squinted, looked for the forest but alas couldn't see your house. Are you sure it is there?

Me, it was a great day for it, and we were up there early enough to miss the crowds.

Plus it didn't snow!

Roddy, no snow and our house is there.

This is one of the coolest photographs on your blogs Kris.
I am glad that you went to all that trouble to climb the mountain, otherwise we would never have savoured such a panoramic vista of your city.
