All wisdom is folly that does not accommodate itself to the common ignorance.

I took this shot just outside the farmhouse we stayed at up in Burnie earlier this month. I do like a nice sunrise through.

Here in Hobart, it's morning. It's Australia Day. It's time to go down to Bellerive docks to get some sausages and laugh at people draped in what is a profoundly ugly flag.

great whacking fun, that is. Hope there's fireworks!

Unfortunately Kris it is the flag that we at present must worship.
I have no idea as to what we should replace it with. And the vast majority of Australians also have no idea. The unfortunate fact is that no matter what we put up someone will have some form of objection.
I wish you all the best with the sausage sizzle.

Replace it with the boxing kangaroo flag?

It'd have it's supporters.

Tom, no fireworks, just a very loud woman with a crocodile puppet.

Roddy, a flag is a stupid thing to worship.

Me, words cannot express how much I detest that flag. I'll keep the present one ahead of that monstrosity.
