A whole stack of memories never equal one little hope.

Henry is patiently watching the Emu River in Burnie, waiting for a glimpse of a platypus.

We got there in the end.

Remember, it used to take hours for us to spot platypus in the Emu. We always did though!
Remember, we used to go down after a big flood to see all the picnic tables under water.
You and Jase grew up too quickly. I wouldn't mind those days back again.

Did he spot one?? What a unique opportunity...at least from where I'm sitting in Arizona!

Roddy, BAH!

Magpie, don't you have platypussies there?

I like the cute little blue coat.

Maybe in the Phoenix Zoo, but I'm not even sure we have them there. Is it platypusi?? Like cacti??

Yamini, he got it for X-mas, it is still a little big.

Magpie, the correct plural would be "platypuses" ("platyputi" would be a corruption/confusion of the Latin and Greek).

I am, however, endeavouring to get "platypussies" off the ground!
