The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.

The view east of the bay of Geilston Bay. October 2010.

Rain, rain, rain. Rain all night and it's still raining this morning. Which leads me to today's Sunday Top Five: My Top Five Songs Featuring The Word 'Rain' In The Title!

  1. Rain, by The Beatles

  2. Have You Ever Seen the Rain, by Creedence Clearwater Revival

  3. Rainy Days and Mondays, by The Carpenters

  4. I Can't Stand the Rain, by Ann Peebles

  5. It's Raining Again, by Supertramp

Just missing the cut (and in no particular order) were Blind Melon's No Rain, Garbage's Only Happy When It Rains, The Be Good Tanya's Rain and Snow, Here Comes the Rain Again by The Eurythmics, Walking in the Rain by The Ronettes and Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain by Willie Nelson.

All right, what have I missed?

Surprise, surprise. It is bucketing down in Burnie as well. Still you can spend quality time indoors with your family.

Perhaps Satan had a bit of insight to the scriptures what with having God as his brother. Maybe they co-wrote the instruction manual.

Rain by Madonna.

And don't forget the Aussie classic by Dragon, also called Rain.

Julie, perhaps, but these things are universal!

Roddy, Satan was one of God’s creations (as I understand the story).

J Bar, I will pay the Dragon hit, but not Madonna. That song is the very definition of “turgid dirge”.

Same same with Satan. Perhaps he is God's alterego.
