Will the events of the past fortnight in London, coupled together with global fiscal instability, compel us [i.e. Ezra and I] to purchase a couple of Krupp 11 inch coastal artillery guns and set about readying ourselves for action?

Unless we srike unlimited reserves of oil, natural gas, or vodka, I don't think we have to worry about Russian imperial ambitions this time around...

I believe you have a bit more time to ponder that problem. Here in Tassie, at least.
Spare parts and ordinance may be a drawback to the purchase of the aforementioned armaments.
There are a couple of spare guns in Brisbane that I know of. Also Melbourne.
