The history of liberty has largely been the history of the observance of procedural safeguards.

Somewhere out there Antarctica awaits... Clifton Beach, October 2011.

Do you remember that song Safety Dance by Canadian synth combo Men Without Hats?

I hate that song.

Really. I really hate that song.

They should have done a song about an ocean or a beach.

Only it should be nothing like fellow Canadians Martha and the Muffins' aural atrocity Echo Beach, because I really hate that song too.

Come to think of it, there's a lot of Canadian music I don't like...

Water, water everywhere. We sailed into Townsville this afternoon.
Around ten in the morning we are off to far off Cairns.
From there back to Brisbane and then Hobart and Devonport.
I will be in touch with times and dates once I am one hundred per cent certain.
