It kinda makes me want to jump the fence really... But I get the intent... I love that bridge, yet it has a shady past back in the '70's (?)...

Sheryl, in 1976 a ship crashed into one of the taller pylons and a few of their crew died, as well as some unfortunate folks who happened to be driving on the bridge that evening.

The oddest thing about this sign is that it was 'protecting' about three square metres of land jutting out into the estuary.
